JaS-Lab is made up of Jutika aka Siobhan Healy and Sahaja Budzilla, a couple who bring their experience of practising Buddhism and Art together to deliver courses and exhibitions on living a creative life.
Jutika aka Siobhan teaches meditation and mindfulness courses in the West Limerick area.
"Life is what happens when you are busy making other plans."
Mindfulness practice helps us be more present in our lives so that we are less caught up in thinking about the past or being anxious about the future. When we are present, we become more aware of our thoughts, feelings, emotions and sensations. We can develop an open interest and empathy towards whatever comes our way, without over identifying with what is happening or getting stuck in a particular state. This liberates us from old patterns so we experience life as more joyful and spacious, even if at times painful feelings are there, they don't overwhelm us as much as before.
Mindfulness helps us with issues of stress, anxiety, depression and can lead us to live richer, more fulfilling lives.
"Enough. These few words are enough.
If not these words, this breath.
If not this breath, this sitting here.
This opening to the life
we have refused
again and again
let me introduce myself
My name is Siobhan Healy aka Jutika. I'm an experienced meditation and mindfulness teacher with a Buddhist background. I love helping people be more at ease in themselves and to witness the natural unfolding that occurs when someone commits to the mindfulness practices and integrates them into their lives. It's my belief that each of us has huge potential for growth and love and healing and though we can really help each other, we also need to honour our differences and realise there isn't a one size fits all. I love to see people find the conditions and contexts that really support them in their growth.
